Orchard Place Moonlight Classic shines a light on Children's Mental Health
More than 500 children’s mental health advocates turned out for the 12th annual Moonlight Classic presented by Sammons® Financial Group Companies. This one-of-a-kind bike ride at night through downtown Des Moines raises awareness and funds for Orchard Place. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and participants, we raised more than $132,000.
Research shows that one in four children will experience a significant mental health concern before age 18. Orchard Place serves more than 7,000 youth and families each year through its residential, outpatient, and home and community-based services.
