Orchard Place is honored to receive a generous $50,000 gift from Nationwide & the Nationwide Foundation.
For 21 years, the Nationwide Foundation has been a dedicated partner, helping Orchard Place create a safe, supportive space where Iowa children and families can overcome mental health adversities. This latest gift will directly support general programming, making a lasting impact on the 6,000+ children and families being served each year.
“I am always excited when we receive extra money to enhance the already cool things we do,” shared Cindy Farnsworth, Supervisor of Contract Services at Orchard Place. For three decades, she has seen gifts from community partners, like Nationwide, allow Orchard Place to grow and research best practices to enhance service delivery to youth and families. “Donations allow for positive outcomes. It assures that individual needs of youth and families are being met through parenting classes, programming after school, and developing safe physical spaces to provide these services.”
