Protect Medicaid Now and Contact Iowa’s Senators

A bill with significant cuts to Medicaid and food assistance passed the US Congressional House of Representatives. If it becomes law, the consequences for the children and families of Iowa could be devastating. There are 600,000 youth in our state alone with Medicaid eligibility. These cuts put their futures at risk.

“Here at Orchard Place, more than 60% of our annual revenues come from the Medicaid covered services we provide with more than 4,500 lives impacted annually,” shared Anne Starr, Orchard Place CEO. “People need to urge the U.S. Senators from Iowa that making these cuts to Medicaid will threaten access to healthcare for many children.”

Take Action!

The time for YOU to reach out to Iowa’s two Senators is now.

Joni Ernst – Home | U.S. Senator Joni Ernst

Chuck Grassley – Home | Senator Chuck Grassley

The budget will now move to the Senate. Tell Senators Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley that Medicaid is a lifeline to Iowa’s most vulnerable families seeking mental health care access. Don’t let a child go without this critical lifesaving care.
